Send a secured link — The adjuster sends a secure SMS or email link from ClaimXperience^®. No app download, no login, and no special hardware required.
Support a self-guided policyholder experience — The policyholder follows a browser-based workflow to capture each damaged area and scan the full room. It’s simple enough for nontechnical users, usually in less than two minutes per room.
Process images into structured claim data — Advanced computer vision converts the submitted images into room measurements, sketches, and damage scope aligned to your carrier guidelines.
Review before delivery — An experienced estimator reviews every result before it reaches your adjuster, who then receives a ready-to-review package to edit and finalize.

No. XactGen Capture uses advanced computer vision—a branch of AI to understand images—to interpret interior damage from photos. It’s not a chatbot, not freeform text generation, and not unattended estimating. A trained human estimator reviews and validates every result before delivery, delivering predictable, auditable output you can trust at scale.

Do policyholders need to download an app?

No. XactGen Capture is web-based, with no account login required. Policyholders use a smartphone or tablet to capture each room—nothing to download and no special hardware such as LiDAR.

What types of claims does XactGen Capture support?

XactGen Capture currently provides estimates for interior water damage claims. It works best on losses involving a small number of rooms, and policyholders can capture larger claims when needed.

How long does it take to capture a room?

On average, it takes 4-5 minutes per room, with a guided workflow that walks the policyholder through each step.

How accurate are the measurements?

Measurements processed through XactGen Capture are more than 95% accurate, including doors, windows, cabinetry, and full room geometry, with minor exceptions.

What is the turnaround time?

Images submitted by 12:00pm MT are typically returned the same business day. Images submitted after 12:00pm MT are usually returned by the next business morning. Catastrophe events may affect turnaround time.

Is there a human in the loop?

Yes. Experienced estimators review XactGen Capture results at each step before anything reaches your adjuster, so quality and accountability stay with people.

How does billing work?

XactGen Capture is integrated to ClaimXperience so you are only billed for XactGen Capture when you receive a sketch and/or estimate. XactGen Capture is only billed once per claim. Normal ClaimXperience fees apply.

How does XactGen Capture handle claims with continuous flooring?

All rooms should be captured for claims with continuous flooring. Only rooms with visible water damage are returned with an estimate; the adjuster adds line items for any rooms without visible damage.
