CMS Schedules NGHP CRC Transition Webinar for January 18, 2018

By Shawn Deane January 11, 2018

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will be holding a webinar on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 1:00 PM ET to provide information and details related to the transition of the Commercial Repayment Center (CRC) contract to Performant Financial Corporation (Performant) effective February 8, 2018. CMS uses the CRC to process conditional payment recoveries for non-group health (NGHP) claims where the claims payer is the debtor. Performant will be taking over from the current contractor, CGI Federal.

A copy of CMS’ announcement, which contains the applicable registration and call-in information, can be obtained here.

Per CMS’ notice, the agency is expected to address the transition to Performant, will provide details around changes to occur and will be followed by a question and answer session with the audience.

ISO Claims Partners will be attending this important session and will provide a post-webinar analysis to include all major items discussed and their impact on CMS’ CRC recovery process going forward.
