Policy Programs

Management liability insurance traditionally has been purchased by public companies. ISO’s private company management liability program is designed specifically to address the needs of private firms.

ISOnet — the Internet information service for insurance professionals — contains a complete electronic version of the current ISO Commercial Lines Manual (CLM), as well as historical information back to 1994. You'll find an integrated state insurance manual (SIM) for each ISO line of business and jurisdiction. The manual includes all applicable rules, state exceptions, loss costs, policy forms, and endorsements.

ISO offers a broad array of specialty commercial lines insurance programs that make it easy for you to enter and compete in new markets. Each program gives you standardized ISO policy forms and endorsements, manual rules, advisory loss costs, and related information.

ISOnet — the Internet information service for insurance professionals — now offers complete information from ISO's personal lines manuals. When you subscribe to ISOnet Insurance Line Services, you automatically get online access to viewable personal lines manuals for the lines of insurance and states you're entitled to receive.

ISO's Multi-Line Class Table Database is a fast and efficient electronic system that helps you determine the correct class codes to use in rating and coding commercial lines policies. ISO is replacing the combined Commercial Lines Classification Table with individual line-of-insurance classification tables. Each line-of-insurance rules manual will now contain monoline classification information for the relevant line.

If you write liability insurance for doctors or hospitals, ISO's simplified medical professional liability program can offer you comprehensive coverages and optional endorsements that address the needs of today's marketplace.

To safeguard your clients from management-related exposures, ISO’s Management Protection Program offers protection from a wide range of risks, including executive liability (directors and officers liability).

The ISO Motorcycle Program — the first such standardized program in the industry — is a specialized program that consists of forms, rules, and loss costs tailored to fit the specific requirements of insuring a motorcycle.

ISO’s Commercial Inland Marine Program gives you access to information for both filed and nonfiled classes of business.

ISOnet — the information service for insurance professionals — offers you access to a collection of more than 9,000 personal and commercial forms and endorsements. The Forms Library contains all simplified ISO forms in effect (based on ISO filings) on or after January 1, 1994. The library also contains a collection of policywriting support forms that can help you satisfy legal requirements and administer your insurance programs.

To manage your company's policy forms and endorsements — and to ensure compliance with state regulations — you need ISO's Forms Information/Report System (FIRST). Available through ISOnet — the information service for insurance professionals — FIRST gives you reports showing the effective dates, expiration dates, and state applicability information for multistate and state forms and endorsements.
