Head of Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging
Latoya Asia is head of Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging, and a key member of the company’s People, Leadership & Culture team. She is an accomplished inclusion and diversity leader, lawyer, and human rights advocate.
Latoya focuses on enhancing an inclusive culture and greater diversity at Verisk, and developing and executing initiatives, policies, programs, and training that create measurable impact.
Before joining Verisk, Latoya served as director, Associate General Counsel at E*TRADE Financial Corporation, primarily providing legal counsel on diversity and inclusion and employment matters. She was a strategic leader on the Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Committee, serving as an innovative advisor to senior leadership and employee resource groups. Before that, she served as a strategic human resources and labor relations business partner at a global petroleum additive manufacturing company and practiced labor and employment law at an international law firm. In all her professional and civic roles, she has led efforts in diversity-focused recruiting and programming.
Latoya holds a J.D. from the College of William and Mary and a B.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a member of the Virginia State Bar.
Latoya serves on the boards of several professional and civic organizations, including the William & Mary School of Law Alumni Association, Arlington County Human Rights Commission, and The Commonwealth Institute.
