Xactware Upgrades Online Training Center

Users can access courses via Internet connection

OREM, Utah, May 5, 2011 — Xactware has updated its Online Training Center to provide property insurance and restoration professionals with comprehensive self-paced training that includes Xactware’s ILX Construction Training as well as training for Xactware’s products and services.

The Online Training Center is built on a revamped learning management system that supports a complete line of training courses that Xactware users can complete with an Internet-connected computer. The new system aggregates Xactware’s media training in a single library at a cost per course much lower than previous disc-based training courses.

“The new Online Training Center provides students with an extensive collection of Xactware courses in a single interface that helps guide learning as well as manage and track progress,” said Matt Weir, Xactware’s assistant vice president of Marketing. “The courses can help estimators of all skill levels quickly learn the skills they need to estimate typical losses they will encounter in the field.”

The new learning management system is also compliant with Sharable Content Object Reference Model 1.2, the government-developed industry standard for learning management systems, which is the same system used for most collegiate online courses.
