Personal Lines Manual Information on ISOnet

ISOnet® — the Internet information service for insurance professionals — now offers complete information from ISO's personal lines manuals. When you subscribe to ISOnet Insurance Line Services, you automatically get online access to viewable personal lines manuals for the lines of insurance and states you're entitled to receive. (You also get information from ISO's Commercial Lines Manual (CLM) and ISO circulars and forms for the lines and states you're entitled to.) The personal lines manuals are PDF files, which you can view with a free Adobe® Acrobat® Reader. There's no additional charge for the online personal lines manuals.

And, if you need to modify the ISO manuals or load them into your own automated systems, you can subscribe for an optional facility to download the personal lines manuals in Microsoft® Word format.

Complete manual information for personal lines

ISOnet Insurance Line Services now include complete information from all of ISO's personal lines manuals:

  • homeowners (including mobile home)
  • dwelling property
  • dwelling liability
  • personal automobile (including symbols for model years 1990 and later)
  • personal inland marine
  • watercraft
  • motorcycle

Today, the service includes current versions of the manuals, based on ISO filings. In the future, ISO will add manual revisions without deleting old material, so you'll be able to access historical manuals.

Flexible information to meet your needs

For agents and insurers that use ISO's personal lines manuals without modification, the ISOnet online view provides a ready-made manual. You get the standard ISO rules, plus critical point-of-sale information — such as territory definitions and personal auto symbols — that you use every day.

For insurers that customize ISO manuals, the online view provides a convenient manual for comparison. And the Word download option gives you a complete and easy-to-use source of manual information.
