Navigating the New World of Remote Insurance Claims

Real Talk with Mark Popolizio

Presentation date
April 1, 2020

Social distancing has become the norm for carriers and policyholders the world over, yet the need to expeditiously adjudicate claims is as paramount as ever. Insurers need to assure policyholders that their claims continue to make progress, while also protecting those on the front lines of service.

In this interactive session, we’ll discuss what insurance claims professionals are doing to connect with customers and keep the claims process moving, including technology tools being used, how those tools are being deployed, and practices and guidelines that are working best in our current environment.  We’ll also explore how collaboration technology is facilitating faster resolution and providing avenues to keep everyone safe.

Who Should Attend:

  • Claims leadership – to arm you with strategies in managing a remote claims operation that keeps insureds and staff safe
  • Adjusters – to learn how to leverage collaboration technology with claimants to virtually assess damage as effectively as if you were onsite
  • SIU – to discover alternative approaches to interviewing parties remotely and successfully detecting fraud as if you were conducting investigations in person
