Xactware Celebrates 25th Anniversary by Sponsoring Service Projects throughout Utah County

Company employees volunteer for Habitat for Humanity projects, other local service opportunities

OREM, Utah, June 9, 2011 — Xactware, which began in the basement of James Loveland’s Orem home and has grown to be a leader in the property insurance, remodeling, and restoration industries, celebrated its 25th anniversary last week by giving back to the Utah County community with a variety of company-sponsored service projects.

On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, company employees donated time to several Habitat for Humanity projects, providing more than 600 hours of work on homes in Springville, Orem, and Provo.

In addition, 50 Xactware employees spent four hours Wednesday volunteering at Heritage School in Provo, which is located near the company’s corporate headquarters at the mouth of Provo Canyon. And on June 2, several Xactware employees volunteered to help Sharon Elementary with its Olympic Day activities.

“Our founders, James and Lynnette Loveland, always set an example for their employees by generously giving to others,” said Xactware Chief Operating Officer Jim Evans. “We want our employees never to forget the great traditions that we’ve had as a company in supporting our community over the past 25 years.”

On Tuesday, about 30 Xactware employees helped finish the drywall for a three-bedroom home in west Springville, which is being built by Habitat for Humanity for a single mother with two children. Many Xactware employees have experience in the construction industry, and it showed.

“A lot of us worked in construction, so we are just happy to come out and help. I’ve done a lot of finish work in drywall,” said John Bezzant, who works in Xactware’s Pricing Data Services.

Kirk Lindley, a client services technician who works on XactAnalysis®, said he was happy to help out, even if he didn’t have much experience. “That’s why they gave me the gun to pull out the loose screws,” Lindley said.

John Roberts, construction manager for Habitat for Humanity, praised the Xactware crews. “I figured it would be two days to finish the Sheetrock, and we will be done in one day,” he said. “This is one of the best crews we’ve ever had on the site. They are willing and hardworking.”

Roberts said when the home is completed, the family will be allowed to purchase it at cost.
