Waltham, Mass., February 17, 2016 — The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has granted HEDIS Certified MeasuresSM status to the measures contained in Verisk Health’s Quality Engine, the measure processing component of the company’s Quality Intelligence Solution for HEDIS. This status indicates that the measures have undergone the rigorous testing required to support the 2016 Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) reporting season. The NCQA Measure CertificationSM process requires solution providers to recertify each year to ensure compliance with the latest quality measure specifications. Verisk Health has achieved certification each year since 2002. For 2015 HEDIS submissions, Verisk Health processed claims for approximately 40 percent of the Americans who are members of plans that submit HEDIS quality metrics to NCQA.
