SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Tuesday, February 15, 2022 — A roster of Verisk leaders kicked off Verisk Elevate 2022 today with an exciting discussion about the state of the insurance ecosystem and the potential it holds for the future of the insurance industry.
- While discussing the current state of the insurance industry, Mike Fulton, president of Verisk – property estimating solutions, said, “Challenging times drive creative thinking and innovation, and we've seen much of that. We've also seen many great examples of how you put the customer first and helped them through these difficult times with even better service.”
- Verisk President of Claims Rich Della Rocca discussed how the claims lifecycle is continually becoming more integrated and streamlined, saying, “We are seeing a natural evolution occurring with many core ecosystems. It's only limited by the creativity and innovativeness of the companies out there.”
- Verisk Chief Operating Officer Mark Anquillare shared an exciting glimpse of the future of claims handling. “I firmly believe we are just now getting to the really fun stuff that will dramatically change our lives and our industry,” he said. “I'm excited and optimistic about the future of this industry.”
- PCS and Claims Solutions Director of Operations Ted Gregory discussed the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and other critical industry trends. “Businesses shutdown over COVID-19,” he said. “Companies could not find the labor needed to run plants and projects, skilled workers quit in record numbers, catastrophes such as Hurricane Ida destroyed timber and knocked out key material providers, and the list goes on.”
