Company Promotes Vincent Cialdella to ISO Senior Vice President and Richard Della Rocca to Vice President – ISO Claims Solutions
JERSEY CITY, N.J., January 29, 2008 — ISO Senior Vice President Richard Boehning will retire on January 31, 2008, concluding a 20-year career supporting the insurance industry.
Boehning joined American Insurance Services Group, Inc. (AISG) in 1987 as executive vice president and was appointed president in February 1995. In October 1997, AISG was acquired by ISO.
In his roles as president of AISG and senior vice president of ISO, Boehning was responsible for leading ISO’s development program for ISO ClaimSearch, the property/casualty insurance industry’s all-claims database. His efforts and leadership helped establish ISO ClaimSearch as the largest claims database in the world, with more than 550 million claims.
Boehning also played a key role in the successful establishment of ISO ClaimSearch in Israel and ISO Claims Outcome Advisor in the U.K. and Ireland. Prior to joining AISG, Rich was a vice president in the consumer products division of The Walt Disney Company. He also served as president of Pathescope Educational Media.
“Rich’s knowledge and professionalism have been tremendous assets, and he has made an enormous contribution to the successful growth of ISO. He has been a valuable colleague and will be missed by all,” said Frank J. Coyne, ISO’s chairman, president, and chief executive officer.
Vincent Cialdella, currently vice president – ISO Claims Solutions, will succeed Boehning as ISO senior vice president. Richard Della Rocca, currently assistant vice president – Business Development, will succeed Cialdella as vice president – ISO Claims Solutions.
As senior vice president, Cialdella will lead the AISG business unit and ISO ClaimSearch. He will oversee operations for ISO’s Automobile-Property Loss Underwriting Service (A-PLUS) and its suite of underwriting information products and policy management workflow solutions, including the Coverage Verifier policy transaction database.
He will also oversee the operation of Insurance Information Exchange (iiX), ISO’s provider of motor vehicle reports and other vehicle information, and Intellicorp Records, Inc., ISO’s provider of criminal and civil court records. These organizations provide services used by insurers for underwriting, claims, and special investigations and by a wide range of other industries for employment and background screening.
In addition, Cialdella will be responsible for AISG’s key advisory organizations serving the property/casualty industry: Engineering and Safety Service, Premium Audit Advisory Service, and Property Claim Services.
As vice president – ISO Claims Solutions, Richard Della Rocca will oversee the development and operation of several key ISO claims solutions, including ISO ClaimSearch, ISO Claims Outcome Advisor, ISO Liability Advisor, and other claims and antifraud information and software solutions.
While assistant vice president – Business Development, Della Rocca was responsible for identifying and successfully completing acquisitions and strategic partnerships in support of ISO’s strategic business units and subsidiaries. In that role, he worked extensively with AISG staff to establish alliances with business partners to add more product offerings to the ISO ClaimSearch Decision Net platform.
“AISG provides essential services to the property/casualty insurance industry,” said Frank J. Coyne. “These promotions recognize Vinnie’s outstanding service to AISG and Rich’s strong insights into AISG’s claims operations.”
