NEW YORK, February 1, 1999 — Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) named Steven R. White vice president — Information Systems Services.
White joins ISO from Waterhouse Securities, Inc., the country's third-largest discount broker, where he was senior vice president—Network Services. He will report to Roy Nicolosi, ISO's senior vice president and chief information officer.
"We're delighted that an information systems manager of Steve's caliber and accomplishments has joined ISO. His solid background in distributed-systems deployment, computer operations, and client/server technologies will be critical to providing superior infrastructure and operational support to ISO and its customers," said Nicolosi.
White will be responsible for ISO's technical infrastructure, including mainframe and distributed-computing environments, and data-center operations.
At Waterhouse Securities White had overall responsibility for managing voice and data network services that served 145 offices across the United States.
White received his bachelor's degree in computer information systems from Empire State College of the State University of New York.
Insurance Services Office Inc. (ISO) provides information about property/casualty insurance, including statistics, underwriting and claims information, actuarial analyses and consulting, policy language, and related information and technical services to participants in the property/casualty insurance market.
