JERSEY CITY, NJ, Dec. 5, 2002 — Experts on risk and insurance from Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) will host a yearlong series of web-based educational seminars on a wide range of ISO products and services beginning in January. The free interactive online seminars are available only to ISO's insurance customers that register for the web-based events. Registered participants will be able to view seminar contents on their computers and hear expert commentary by telephone. Participants will be able to ask questions and take part in the discussions.
A seminar on ISO's commercial property and general liability terrorism forms in response to the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act of 2002 will kick off the series on January 16. The second seminar in the series on January 30 will focus on ISO's loss costs and rating information filing, including analyses based on the probabilistic Terrorism Loss Estimation Model developed by AIR Worldwide Corporation, ISO's catastrophe-modeling subsidiary.
Other topics in the seminar series include mold, employment practices liability (EPL) insurance, kidnap/ransom and extortion (KR&E) coverage, management protection program, construction defects, Internet coverage and multistate commercial auto changes (see attached complete program list).
