ISO to Provide Erie with Web-Based Property Survey Management System
JERSEY CITY, N.J., October 14, 2008 — ISO has signed a license agreement to provide Erie Insurance with its FlightDeck™ customized property survey management system. Erie Insurance, a multiline insurance company formed in 1925, is the 21st largest property/casualty insurer in the United States. Erie Insurance intends to roll out the software application to thousands of its agents.
FlightDeck is an intelligent web-based system for managing on-site surveys of residential and commercial properties. Designed for insurers who have in-house survey staffs or use outside vendors, FlightDeck eases administrative workflow by enabling insurers to create industry-standard and company-specific Smart Forms, order surveys, monitor order status, manage quality control, mine data for management reports, and auto-assign by product, agent, territory, or surveyor. FlightDeck also offers insurers the ability to run automated and customized rules-based reviews that ensure form completeness and data verification.
“Erie Insurance is committed to being above all others in service to our policyholders,” said Mike Bova, assistant vice president and manager, Erie Insurance. “ISO’s FlightDeck system will help to improve data quality and decrease turnaround time, making it easier for us to do business and streamline processes for our customers.”
“FlightDeck’s real-time survey ordering lets insurers assign surveys efficiently,” said Neil Spector, vice president of Sales at ISO. “The application’s event log tracks order changes and lets customers cancel orders if necessary. FlightDeck management reports can improve the quality of survey workflow and result in better underwriting decisions for Erie Insurance. In addition, FlightDeck’s data-mining capabilities will provide Erie with additional return on their survey dollars by providing analytic capabilities on properties surveyed.”
