NEW YORK, June 17, 1998 — Three members of the Board of Directors of Insurance Services Office, Inc., (ISO) were re-elected to serve three-year terms at the company's annual meeting today.
Re-elected were: Dennis H. Chookaszian, chairman and chief executive officer of CNA Insurance Cos., John F. Lehman, Jr., chairman of J. F. Lehman & Co., and Arthur J. Rothkopf, president of Lafayette College, Easton, Pa.
Chookaszian has served on ISO's board since January 1997, and has been chairman and chief executive officer of CNA Insurance Cos. since 1992. Chookaszian was president and chief operating officer of CNA from 1990 to 1992, and chief financial officer of CNA Financial Corp. and CNA Insurance Cos. from 1975 to 1990. Before joining CNA in 1975, he was with Touche Ross & Co. Management Consulting Services. Chookaszian is a director of Loews Corp. and Mercury Finance Corp.
Lehman, chairman of the investment banking firm he founded in 1991, has served on ISO's board since 1992. Lehman served as secretary of the Navy from 1981 to 1987 during the Reagan Administration. From 1988 to 1991, he was managing director of Paine Webber, Inc. Lehman serves on the boards of directors of Lions Holding Corp., Ball Corp. and Sedgwick Group, Plc.
Rothkopf, a member of ISO's board since 1993, has served as president of Lafayette College since 1993. Rothkopf was deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation in 1992 during the Bush Administration after first serving as the department's general counsel. From 1967 through 1991, Rothkopf practiced law with the Washington, D. C. firm of Hogan & Hartson, where he became a senior managing partner. Rothkopf is a director of the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.
