JERSEY CITY, N.J., Sept. 21, 2006 — Daniel Pink, best-selling author of A Whole New Mind, will deliver the keynote speech at ISOTech® 2006, the property/casualty industry’s annual insurance technology conference that opens Nov. 12 in Kissimmee, Fla.
More than 100 exhibitors will display advanced technology products and solutions at the three-day conference at Gaylord Palms™ Resort and Convention Center, which runs through Nov. 14.
Pink’s presentation will focus on economic and global factors redefining a new era where “creators” and “empathizers” — not traditional knowledge workers — will drive changes through an organization.
ISO Chairman, President and CEO Frank J. Coyne, the other keynoter, will examine trends shaping the future of the property/casualty industry and ways to overcome the challenges those trends may present.
On opening day, Kathy Cleveland Bull, an organizational change consultant, will speak about organizational and personal change models that insurance executives can use to implement successful business strategies, based on the best-selling business book, Who Moved My Cheese?
A panel discussion, moderated by Ara Trembly, senior technology editor of National Underwriter, will examine “Security Issues in the Insurance Industry.” Information security experts will offer new solutions to a host of data and information privacy issues and security threats, including hackers, viruses, Trojan horses, spyware, spam and malicious e-mails.
