3E Company Enhances Ariel WebInsight Regulatory Compliance Tool with Enriched Analytics, Decision Support, and Industry-Specific Content

Ariel WebInsight 9.0 Features Intuitive User Interface, Robust Customization Functionality and New Personal Care/Cosmetics, Food Contact, and Pharmaceuticals Content Subscriptions

Carlsbad, Calif., December 3, 2015 — 3E Company, a leading provider of environmental health and safety (EH&S) compliance and information management services, today introduced Ariel® WebInsight™ 9.0, the latest version of its online chemical regulatory compliance reference tool. WebInsight 9.0 features a completely redesigned user experience with enhanced visualization, navigation, and customization functionality. 3E Company is a Verisk Analytics (Nasdaq:VRSK) business.

The new release streamlines navigation with an optimized customizable dashboard, offering seamless access to configurable searches, regulatory change reports, news headlines, and content updates. The new version also features innovative visualization capabilities, making WebInsight’s wealth of data assets easier to navigate and more actionable.

WebInsight 9.0 offers access to additional content subscriptions, including industry-specific vertical content packages for the personal care/cosmetics, food contact, and pharmaceuticals industries. The packages can be segmented by region, enabling users to better customize their content subscriptions and search more efficiently. With WebInsight’s enhanced decision support, EH&S professionals can help ensure products can be sold in their intended markets, Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and labels are compliant, and proper reporting and notifications are in place.

WebInsight 9.0 also boasts expanded analytical functionality. The popular Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) Classification module has been redesigned to allow users to more easily manage classification and labeling for multiple products. This functionality is extremely valuable for users responsible for managing compliance with the United Nations’ GHS, as it not only helps them classify products but also generates a GHS label with all the necessary pictograms and hazard and precautionary statements, based on the assigned classification.

“WebInsight 9.0 takes user experience and decision support to the next level, bringing significant enhancements to critical functionality, including search, content display and navigation, regulation tracking, and analytics, as well as new features, including industry-specific compliance content and a highly customizable dashboard,” said Uday Virkud, CEO and president, 3E Company. “WebInsight delivers current, relevant global regulatory content in one central, searchable, user-friendly, and customizable solution enabling EH&S professionals faced with constantly changing regulations in multiple jurisdictions to improve product and facility compliance.”

Ariel WebInsight 9.0 will be available to customers on December 18, 2015.
