NMVTIS Compliance Reporting for Insurers
To report to the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) through ISO ClaimSearch, simply report your auto physical damage claim to ISO ClaimSearch by Universal Format, either in a system-to-system or web reporting method.
ISO ClaimSearch will add the claim to the system and return a Match Report. Once you determine the vehicle is a total loss, send an update record to ISO ClaimSearch with the Total Loss Indicator.
ISO ClaimSearch will forward all total losses to NMVTIS at 30 days from the date you identify the automobile as a total loss.
By reporting to NMVTIS through ISO ClaimSearch, insurers can:
- reduce programming costs or eliminate the cost of using an outside vendor
- streamline workflow (since they are already reporting the data to ISO ClaimSearch)
- assure compliance with the NMVTIS regulations
- use our robust NMVTIS dashboard to manage and analyze their NMVTIS reportable data contained in the ISO ClaimSearch database
ISO ClaimSearch will include the reporting for NMVTIS for all insurer auto service participants in the standard auto assessment. There is no additional charge for the service.
