Meet the team

William Mauro

Vice president and head of coverage for ISO commercial lines at Verisk

Since joining Verisk in 2003, Billy has been involved in many of ISO’s commercial lines coverage initiatives, including those related to commercial property, general liability, commercial auto, commercial umbrella/excess, businessowners, cyber and other ISO commercial lines of business. Billy also leads the Premium Audit Advisory Services, CourtSide and ISO Emerging Issues units at Verisk, has authored articles for several insurance publications, and is a frequent presenter at industry events.


Director of ISO commercial automobile product development and ISO Emerging Issues at Verisk

Andrew is responsible for overseeing the development, revision, and maintenance of ISO's commercial automobile forms, rules, and loss costs programs. He has more than 30 years of experience in commercial automobile insurance. As director of ISO Emerging Issues, Andrew manages a research team that analyses a host of technological, atmospheric, and societal changes and publishes timely content contextualized for the insurance industry. He has authored numerous articles for publications such as Rough Notes and Verisk’s Visualize. He is a frequent guest speaker and panelist at industry conferences and a teacher at accredited educational seminars. Andrew graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Binghamton University and has earned the designation of a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).

Christopher Sirota

ISO Emerging Issues product development lead at Verisk

Christopher is responsible for research in emerging risks that may affect the insurance industry to support product development and for maintaining the ISO Emerging Issues website. With over 20 years at Verisk, Christopher has previously been involved in product development for personal and commercial auto programs related to telematics and connected vehicles. He also has presented at industry events on the topic. Christopher has earned the designation of a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).

David Geller

ISO Emerging Issues senior analyst at Verisk

David is responsible for research in emerging risks that may affect the insurance industry to support product development and to maintain the ISO Emerging Issues website. David has presented at industry events and authored articles for several insurance publications covering a variety of emerging issues. David has helped develop new ISO commercial programs as well as file revised state endorsements in response to regulatory developments. Prior to joining Verisk, David was a liability claims examiner and commercial lines underwriter. David has earned the designation of a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and a Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA).
