Vincent Cialdella, president of Verisk Insurance Solutions – Claims and Crime Analytics, and Joseph Wehrle, president of the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), shared Risk & Insurance magazine’s Risk Innovator award. The award recognizes Verisk and the NICB for developing the Aggregated Medical Database, which helps property/casualty insurers identify fraud in medical billing.

The award recognizes an ISO system that helps insurers in the United Kingdom meet Ministry of Justice requirements related to the claims handling process for motor vehicle personal injury claims. The award also recognizes ISO’s outstanding level of service to the industry.
The Insurance Federation of New York presented its 2005 Free Enterprise Award to Frank Coyne. The award recognizes captains of industry who champion free enterprise and exhibit exceptional leadership.

ISO Assistant Vice President Michael Murray received the Society of Insurance Research (SIR) Stan Hopp Award for "perennial and reliable contributions to the planning, promotion, and execution of SIR conferences" and "unflagging engagement on every issue of concern to the Society's Board of Directors."
