Founded in 1908 by a group of gardeners, Spira Forsikring, previously Gartnernes, is a customer-owned insurer with strong local roots and a green profile. Known for its customer-centric approach, the company prides itself on clear communication and tailored insurance solutions. That same focus on customer experience is what led Spira Forsikring to seek a partner for medical assessments within personal injury claims.

Martin Bjørk-Olsen, Head of Customer Service at Spira Forsikring, explains:

With access to Verisk’s independent network of medical advisors, Spira Forsikring can now rely on a broader range of medical specialities, reducing dependency on individual expertise.

“Our experience with Verisk’s medical advisors has been excellent. On top of that, we’ve also introduced our own doctors to the Mavera DSS platform, and they’ve found it user-friendly and efficient. Thanks to the on-site onboarding, both claims handlers and doctors were up and running quickly. One of the biggest gains for us has been having all claims in one system, which now allows us to analyze data in ways we simply couldn’t before.”

And what’s next for Spira Forsikring?

“We’re very curious to explore how AI will continue to transform the industry, and definitely plan to try out the AI functionality in Mavera DSS as we move forward. This journey of change has only just begun.”
