Executive Team
As Verisk’s chief financial officer (CFO), Elizabeth Mann drives the company’s financial strategy and capital management philosophy by focusing on creating long-term value and investing in the highest-return opportunities, and leads Verisk’s shareholder engagement. She also oversees client strategy, partnering with business leaders to strengthen client engagement, drive retention, and align Verisk's capabilities with client priorities across the insurance ecosystem. She previously served as Interim President of the Claims Solutions business.
Elizabeth joined Verisk from S&P Global, where she was CFO of the Ratings and Mobility divisions, after serving as senior vice president of Capital Management overseeing the Treasury, Tax and Capital Allocation functions. Before that, she held several roles of increasing responsibility at Goldman Sachs, including managing director of the firmwide strategy group and the technology, media, and telecom investment banking group. Her expertise and insights have been published in industry and academic outlets.
Before joining corporate America, Elizabeth was Moore Instructor and National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Elizabeth holds a PhD in mathematics from the University of Oxford; a certificate of advanced study in mathematics from the University of Cambridge, where she was a Churchill Scholar; and a BS in mathematics from Harvard University.
Elizabeth serves on the Board of Motorola Solutions, Inc, and as the Board President for the Winston Churchill Scholarship Foundation of the United States.
