Executive Team
Sunita Holzer is Verisk’s chief human relations officer (CHRO), leading all aspects of human resources strategy and operations for 7,900 team members in more than 20 countries. She builds and strengthens the Verisk culture focused on growth, performance, and values, as well as champions an engaged workforce.
She brings three decades of enterprise-level HR leadership experience across several industries served by Verisk. Before joining the company, Sunita served as CHRO at Realogy (now Anywhere Real Estate), CHRO for Computer Sciences Corporation (now DXC Technology), and CHRO at Chubb Insurance, respectively. Additional prior roles included human resources management and planning at GE Capital and American Express.
Sunita speaks and writes regularly about leadership issues and is the author of Wednesday Wisdom, a biweekly LinkedIn blog. She was recognized as a Woman Who Makes a Difference by the National Organization for Research on Women.
She holds an MS in human resource management and labor relations from the New York Institute of Technology and a BS in psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She completed post-graduate studies in advanced executive leadership education at Harvard University.
Passionate about organizational culture and people-first strategy, Sunita had a prior role as board member and chair of the compensation and nomination and governance committee for South Jersey Industries, a public energy company. She currently serves on the board of Liberty Science Center, a STEM-focused science and learning center.
