Jes Westerman is head of strategic products in underwriting for UK and Europe and his job is to work with insurers, data providers, and Verisk IT and analytics teams to develop new and exciting products that help address both today’s and tomorrow’s business needs. Jes has a strong background in IT, insurance, and data, having worked at a senior level, driving product strategy, for two major software houses as well as the insurance arm of Experian. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, writing music, and chess.
