Meet the Presenters

Mark Hadaway


Mark Hadaway is co-founder of ARC360, in association with I Love Claims. Mark has over 20 years’ experience within the automotive industry working across multiple media disciplines, including digital, events, and print.

Specialising in the automotive incident repair sector, Mark has headed up industry leading publications; founded and chaired group initiatives; acted as conference director for events, meetings and seminars; presented at national and international events; assessed/judged national awards programmes; and initiated and managed educational programmes and projects.

Mark has also provided communications expertise within the fleet and remarketing sides of the industry.

Mark holds an MBA in strategic management and leadership, is a sports coach, and a keen endurance athlete.

Nick Sproul

Gallagher Bassett

Nic Sproul started his career as a process engineer in the microelectronics sector, going on to hold a number of senior executive roles in Silicon Valley, managing global projects that to this day make a significant difference to the connected world we live in.

Nic then went into management consultancy, working with a number of startup companies, through which he has become heavily engaged within the insurance claims sector for the past 15 years, including being part of the I Love Claims team for the past five years.

In 2018, Nic joined the executive team at Gallagher Bassett following their acquisition of PCS and is responsible for property claims and carrier practice strategy and delivery.

Paul Sell

Service Certainty

Paul Sell is director of Service Certainty, an exciting tech business growing into the demands for media capture in the claims market. His experience includes 23 years with Aviva where he led strategic partnership deals with large and prestigious vehicle manufacturers, was head of of the supply chain across all product lines of general insurance, and filled the claims transformation leadership role, focusing on digital and claims automation.

Steve Patton

Head of Anti-Fraud Services

Steve Paton joined Verisk in April 2018 as head of anti-fraud services for the UK and Europe. Originally trained in the banking and finance sector, Steve has over 20 years’ experience delivering a range of automated decision support services across the insurance customer lifecycle, including shared databases, data analytics, risk evaluation, and antifraud services. Steve has previously held consultancy and strategic development roles at Equifax, Experian, BAE Systems, and most recently CRIF.
