Chris Rolland is the group CEO at AllClear. With over 20 years of financial services experience, Chris joined the technology and pricing travel insurance specialist AllClear Travel as CEO in December 2017. Previously he worked in senior leader roles for American Express, Legal & General, Staysure, and BUPA. He holds an MBA and Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in economics and qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Insurance. Chris believes passionately in high customer ethics and has grown businesses winning various industry awards. He lives with his wife and two children in Surrey and enjoys cycling, scuba-diving, and travelling in his spare time.

With forty years in financial services working in sales and sales management across the whole range of distribution, Mike has worked both in single tied operations with Prudential and Britannic Group and IFA distribution with the Sesame Bankhall Group.
Over this period, Mike has been involved in building and developing a number of sales teams across the UK, including in the specialist areas of equity release and pension transfers.
After a two-year period with Cofunds leading the platform consultancy team, Mike joined financial technology specialists theidol.com as business development director.
With responsibilities for a wide range of business relationships with both aggregator partners and providers across a myriad products, Mike leads theidol.com’s travel insurance proposition and as such is well placed to understand how distribution within travel insurance may evolve.

Dr Paul Beven qualified as a doctor in London in 1981. After a varied early medical career, he co-founded the first Healix company in 1992, and managed the development of the Healix Group into an international organisation providing medical and security assistance, medical claims management, medical risk assessment, and insurance intermediation. Healix Risk Rating was acquired by US data and analytics company Verisk in 2017, and Paul continued to manage the business unit as Verisk Risk Rating (VRR).

Tom Bishop is the head of travel insurance for Direct Line Group (DLG), one of the UK’s largest travel insurers. His primary responsibility is the performance and strategic direction of the Direct Line and Churchill retail brands and partnerships with two of the largest bancassurance providers in the market. Tom has more than 20 years of experience in travel insurance, initially in operational roles for Europe Assistance and Travelex, before joining RBS Insurance as operations manager of their 24/7 travel and medical assistance team. He has overseen the growth and digital transformation of DLG’s travel insurance business since moving to his current role in 2011.
