Christoper Croft is a chief executive at the London & International Insurance Brokers' Association. Christopher became the CEO of LIIBA in January 2016. Prior to that, he was head of the London Market Group's Secretariat where he led the work that produced the milestone London Matters report. He began his career as a government economist and spent 10 years in financial services regulation prior to joining LMG. As part of his LIIBA role, he is also a director of BIPAR (European Federation of Insurance Intermediaries) and sits on the executive committee of the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (WFII). He also served as vice president of the Insurance Institute of London.
Director of Operations
Louise Day is director of operations at the IUA and has over 30 years’ experience governing and delivering change across the London market and wider financial services sector. Louise joined the IUA in 2015 to oversee company market involvement in market modernisation and has since been involved in many major initiatives as well as running operations for the IUA. She is a non-executive director of London Insurance Market Operations & Strategic Sourcing (LIMOSS). Louise is also a member of the inclusion@Lloyd’s committee and a dedicated supporter of London market diversity and inclusion campaigns. Louise has been involved in project delivery throughout her career and has additional experience of managed service delivery. She has worked for London market insurers for 10 years and is passionate about evolving the market.
Rob Myers was appointed operations director at the LMA in May 2019. Through engagement with operations and technology C-suite in Lloyd’s managing agents, Lloyd’s Corporation and other London market trade associations, he is responsible for representing LMA Members’ interests in and the LMA contribution to market modernisation and digitisation initiatives; supporting and influencing adoption and evolution of services introduced through the London Market Target Operating Model (TOM) programme; and the Future at Lloyd’s programme.
Acting as a customer representative and working closely with the London Insurance Market Operations & Strategic Sourcing (LIMOSS) team, Rob also oversees of the effective and efficient delivery of production services and change programmes by Market Services supplier organisations.
Prior to joining the LMA, Rob operated as an independent consultant supporting a client with the establishment of a new Lloyd’s syndicate, coverholder and claims TPA. He started his career at the Corporation of Lloyd’s and held a number of senior roles in Xchanging, latterly DXC Technology, including Global COO for Xchanging’s Insurance & Banking Business Process Services and Managing Director of London Market Insurance Services joint-venture businesses with Lloyd’s and the International Underwriting Association (IUA).
Managing Director UK & Europe
Tom Payne joined Verisk’s ISO commercial lines business as head of UK and European operations, having previously held senior technology and operations roles at both carriers and brokers. Tom held the position of market operations director at the Lloyd’s Market Association, working closely with Lloyd’s of London and managing agents across areas including market modernisation, central services provision, and the oversight of key market contracts and vendors.
