Chris Coyne

Head of Operation Excellence
Canopius

Chris Coyne is the head of operational excellence at Canopius. His key responsibilities for the department include operational reporting, operational control, data quality, underwriting governance and operational improvement. Chris has previously held senior operational roles in the insurance industry at organisations such as AmTrust, Antares and Allied World. He has extensive experience across IT, change, project management and outsourcing and has managed a wide range of operational activity, such as credit control, delegated authority management, and data entry.

David Rogers

Head of Product - Sequel Re
Sequel

As head of product (Sequel Re), David Rogers leads the ongoing strategic direction and development of Sequel Re to support the outward insurance operations for the global specialty insurance markets including many leading insurers and syndicates. He has over 35 years of experience in outward reinsurance and claims administration and enjoys tackling many of the complex issues that arise with outward reinsurance processes. He has worked in the Lloyd’s and European markets in London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Antwerp, Rotterdam, and Zurich. Prior to Sequel, David worked with MS Amlin for 21 years and rose to head of group reinsurance recoveries, and before that, he was was with SUM and Secretan.

Reid Stanway

Facilities Placement Leader
Marsh Specialty

Reid Stanway is the facilities placement leader for the Marsh Specialty business in the UK.

In this capacity, he supports the Marsh JLT Specialty head of placement in the execution and design of the facility placement strategy, for the 400+ Pre-Agreed Placement Solutions (lineslip, coverholders, and panel agreements) across the Marsh JLT Aviation, Bowring Marsh International Property & Casualty, Construction, Real Estate & Surety, Energy, Marine, and FINPRO Practices.

Reid also has overall responsibility for the design, management, and execution of the Marsh Intuitive Quote & Bind Portal strategy.

Before moving to his current role, Reid worked in the Marsh Toronto offices as a client executive for the company’s global mining and power clients, as well as was the UK company’s risk manager.
