Jonathan Swift has written and commented about the insurance industry since 1998 as a reporter, news editor, editor, and content director at Incisive Media and then Infopro Digital. He has appeared on television speaking about topics as diverse as the insurance implications of Michael Jackson's death to the consequences of consolidation on motor premiums, and he's a past winner of the British Insurance Brokers' Association journalist of the year and Association of British Insurers general insurance trade journalist prizes.
Jonathan has been ranked among the top 25 InsurTech influencers by both Lucep and Insurtech News.
Nick is responsible for the legal and regulatory functions at Zego, a market-leading InsurTech business which is disrupting the traditional insurance model and making it more suitable for and relevant to 21st century customers and businesses.
He is also an advisor to the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Centre for Data Ethics & Innovation on digital ethics and the use of artificial intelligence in insurance.
Nick was previously head of financial services, insurance and InsurTech practices at Capital Law, providing a more specialist offering, grounded in a highly commercial approach. During that time he also acted as an advisor and mentor to a number of individual InsurTech and FinTech businesses, as well as wider accelerator/incubator programmes.
