Barbara Russo is managing director of excess and surplus at ISO. Ms. Russo is responsible for leading ISO’s growth efforts in the excess and surplus and specialty market segments—setting strategy, enhancing existing capabilities, and developing new approaches to challenges facing the industry.

Ms. Russo is an insurance executive with more than 25 years in customer management and business leadership roles. Most recently, she led the international segment for Zurich’s Global Corporate business unit in North America. Before that, she held positions of increasing leadership at Travelers, Marsh, AIG, and Winterthur.

Ms. Russo is an experienced speaker on international insurance issues, international regulation, and enterprise relationship management. She graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Connecticut and earned a master of business administration degree from the University of Hartford.

Scott West is assistant vice president of customer strategy and solutions for ISO. In this role, he helps ISO’s leaders gain new insights into how customers use the company’s products and services. Mr. West manages customer satisfaction metrics and creates and develops strategic opportunities for innovation.

Earlier in his career, Mr. West worked as a personal lines pricing analyst for an insurer and in government relations and sales for ISO and Verisk – insurance solutions.

Mr. West graduated with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Iowa. He has earned the designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF).
