Verisk and The Davies Group Win Insurance Times Tech & Innovation Award for Customer Experience Excellence

Judges laud The Davies Group’s use of video-streaming technology from Verisk to achieve a 56 per cent reduction in claim lifecycles

LONDON, UK, 17 October 2019 — Verisk (Nasdaq:VRSK), a leading global data analytics provider, has won an Insurance Times Tech & Innovation award for enhancing the claim experience for customers of The Davies Group.

Verisk and The Davies Group were jointly awarded the trophy for ‘Best Use of Technology for Customer Experience in Claims’ based on a tailored deployment of video-streaming technology. The project, based on the Xactware ClaimXperience™ platform, uses live video to facilitate seamless video collaboration between claimants and claim handlers. By implementing ClaimXperience into its workflows, The Davies Group has achieved a 56 per cent average reduction in claim lifecycles.

Judges from leading U.K. insurers and InsurTech organisations praised the innovative use of technology to empower claimants to livestream evidence of property damage. This streamlined approach to claim handling saves customers time and simplifies the process of making a claim.

2019 marks the second consecutive year a Verisk business has been honoured with a Tech & Innovation Award. ENI won ‘Technology Partner of the Year’ in 2018 for a highly effective counter-fraud project developed in conjunction with customer Direct Line Group.
