Top UK insurance magazine Insurance Times has announced the winners of its TechAwards 2015 with some excellent news for ISO in the UK. The company won the Claims Technology Initiative of the Year category with its groundbreaking new analytics offering, Case in Point. The highly respected panel of judges included Barry Panayi, head of data science at health insurer BUPA; Chris Dobson, distribution and development director of insurance provider Ageas Insurance Limited; and a host of other industry executives. All were convinced of the strengths of Case in Point after our nomination detailed the cost efficiencies and functionality on offer to insurance companies.
Case in Point is part of the ISO Claims Outcome Advisor® (COA™) portfolio of offerings. The tool uses powerful data analytics to provide claims handlers with a unique level of insight into the settlement process, with the aim of reducing avoidable litigation and settlement spend. Case in Point allows handlers to negotiate and settle personal injury claims faster than ever before by streamlining the entire process.
Our entry was supported by testimonials from major insurance company LV=, a long-term customer of ISO, who demonstrated the savings made with its adoption of Case in Point, which has substantially shortened the settlement process and reduced excessive settlement spend. The company even produced powerful metrics to support this.
We had some tough competition from other claims management technology firms but made it through the nominations stage and into the final, where we were delighted to pick up the award.
Case in Point is available as a settlement solution to customers and now comes, of course, with a prestigious industry award to its name!
