ISO ClaimSearch® Solutions is releasing an updated ISO ClaimSearch Privacy and Security Policies Statement, replacing the November 2010 version. The policy will be released in a tiered approach, and all companies will receive their updated copy of the policy by the end of year. Members will be receiving the updated policies via the DocuSign application.
Here are some answers to questions customers may have in regards to the release.
Who will be receiving the new policy?
The documents will be sent to all home office casualty contacts that ISO has on file for each particular company. If your company does not subscribe to the casualty layer, we’ll be sending the documents to the home office property or auto contact.
What should we expect to receive?
Home office contacts will receive three documents: the updated Privacy and Security Policies Statement, the Agreement and Acknowledgment of Receipt form, and the Data Access Authorization form.
We already signed a Privacy and Security Policies Statement when we became members. Do we need to sign one again?
Yes, all existing members need to acknowledge receipt of the new Privacy and Security Policies.
What do I need to sign?
Please execute the Agreement and Acknowledgment of Receipt form and the Data Access Authorization form through DocuSign.
What is DocuSign?
DocuSign is our electronic signature portal that will allow our customers to securely review, print, download, and electronically sign the required documents. There’s no charge for using DocuSign, and you do not need to be a DocuSign customer.
What if I receive the package but someone else needs to review it?
The recipients of the Privacy and Security Policies package will be able to reassign the documents through DocuSign to another party within their organization.
How do I return the documents?
Once executed, DocuSign will automate the return of the signed and completed acknowledgments to ISO ClaimSearch using the integrated e-signature feature. Companies may also scan the signed documents and return them by e-mail to email@example.com.
We didn’t receive our new Privacy and Security Policies package. What should we do?
We’re releasing the updated policies package in a tiered approach, and all companies will be receiving their updated policy statement by the end of the calendar year.
