In our continued efforts to support industry educational initiatives, ISO Claims Partners is pleased to sponsor the 2016 Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) Alliance Midwest Conference, to be held at the Hilton Omaha in Nebraska on June 23, 2016.
The conference’s interactive sessions offer a great opportunity to explore a wide range of issues from the following tracks:
- medical legal
- religious nonprofit
- claims/litigation management
The CLM Alliance, founded in 2007, promotes and furthers the highest standards of claims and litigation management and brings together thought leaders in both industries. The organization currently has more than 30,000 members and fellows, including risk and litigation managers, insurance and claims professionals, corporate counsel, outside counsel, and third-party vendors. The CLM sponsors educational programs, provides resources, and fosters communication among all in the industry.
Jessica Smythe, assistant vice president, Customer Relationship Management, at ISO Claims Partners, will speak at 2016 CLM Midwest with copresenters Kenneth Eichler from the Work Loss Data Institute and Del Malec from Allianz Resolution Management. During their session, Using Evidence-Based Medicine to Facilitate Settlements and Improve Claims Outcomes, they’ll discuss how evidence-based medicine can be a key tool in the claims-handling and Medicare compliance processes. They’ll also explore how evidence-based medicine can provide an objective basis for the determination of appropriate optimal care for injured workers, with a focus on improved medical and functional outcomes.
Jessica is a nationally recognized speaker and trainer on the subject of Medicare compliance, including the impact of Medicare compliance on claim handling and litigation management. She has also been awarded the designations of Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP), Medicare Set-Aside Certified Consultant (MSCC), and Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Professional (CMSP).
