ISO Claims Partners: Raising the Bar AgainBy Robert Lewis | October 21, 2015
I’m very pleased to announce that Fran Provenzano is joining our medical team here at ISO Claims Partners. Fran was the president and CEO of Medicare Set-Aside Specialists, Inc., and has been on the cutting edge of the Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) industry since its inception. She brings a wealth of medical knowledge, business insight, and customer focus that will help us raise the bar even higher.
Back in the early 2000s, Mark Popolizio, Fran Provenzano, and I would travel the country presenting on MSP compliance. Whether for MediPro Seminars, National Alliance of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals (NAMSAP), or the University of Florida — the three of us were leading the charge in this evolving industry. For me personally, having Fran and Mark now on our team at ISO Claims Partners is extremely gratifying — it’s getting the original band back together again!
Fran currently serves as the lead instructor to the University of Florida Medicare Set-Aside (MSA) certificate program, as well as an instructor for NAMSAP and the Louisiana Association of Self Insured Employers (LASIE). She has served on the NAMSAP board of directors for six and a half years. Through her involvement with the University of Florida and leadership roles in NAMSAP, Fran is a nationally recognized authority on MSAs. In addition, Fran has authored the MSA section of the Legal Nurse Consulting Practices textbook. She received her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Tampa and holds credentials and certifications in the following areas: Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), Certified Case Manager (CMC), Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP), Medicare Set-Aside Consultant Certified (MSCC), and Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Professional (CMSP).
She’ll join our quality assurance team along with Angela Wolfe, who we profiled earlier this year.
Without question, the additions of Fran and Angela — along with our 25 dedicated MSP attorneys, 15 nurses, insurance executives, claims professionals, and data analysts — make this the most experienced medical and legal team in the country.
