Last week, the short list for the Insurance Marketing and PR Awards was published, and its my pleasure to congratulate the ISO Claims Analytics marketing team for making the cut. This group of savvy and innovative marketers has been named a finalist in the "Marketing/PR Team of the Year" category—quite an accomplishment given that the team is based in Verisk's Jersey City headquarters.
So, how did this team of eight become a finalist for a U.K. honor? The answer is simple: location no longer matters. The team is truly global in its perspective, scope, and activity. A global marketplace means you need to understand local markets around the world, not just the global marketplace the local ones roll up to.
In the London market, the ISO Claims Analytics team has been instrumental in supporting Property Claim Services® (PCS®) in engaging with clients and also entering new risk areas—such as the group's Turkey launch in May 2015. London-focused marketing activity was also instrumental in bringing new life to our exchange-traded risk initiative.
In addition, the team led the development and execution of our "Aiming Blind" campaign, a global integrated effort that also crossed lines of business. The underlying thought leadership makes a compelling case for how solutions from ISO Claims Outcome Advisor (motor liability) and Xactware (property) can improve claim-handling efficiency, reduce overhead, and improve insurer profitability.
And this is just the ISO Claims Analytics marketing team's activity for the London market. A truly global team—that speaks more than half a dozen languages—they rallied recently to launch localized insurance-linked securities campaigns in Japanese and French as pilots for broader local market execution.
