The finalist list for the 2015 British Insurance Awards has been revealed, with ISO making the cut for “Claims Initiative of the Year – Outsourced Partner.” We’re honored to have made the short list — and wish all finalists the best of luck. In particular, the ISO Claims Outcome Advisor® (COA®) team in the U.K. would like to thank our clients for adopting and committing to our solutions, particularly Case in Point, for which we were nominated.
Case in Point gives insurers using COA an advantage during settlement negotiations by offering visibility into likely settlement offers based on recent claimant solicitor behavior. The system — leveraging data from the MoJ portal — uses advanced analytics to help claim handlers evaluate solicitor settlement patterns. Case in Point presents users with a range of likely outcomes from specific solicitors and details of similar claims, allowing claim handlers to improve their understanding of counterparty negotiating behavior.
