How to Comply with Rhode Island Medicaid Legislation

The ClaimSearch Medicaid Reporting Service helps you comply with Rhode Island’s new Medical Assistance Intercept Act. The legislation requires all insurers that write workers' compensation or liability policies in the state to participate in a data match program called the Medicaid Recovery Network (MRN). The program recovers and intercepts Medicaid payments that the agency issues on behalf of Medicaid recipients if an insurer pays a claim.

We worked with the insurance industry and the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services to create the new reporting service, which is free to ClaimSearch® member companies. All you need to do is report your claims to ClaimSearch as usual using Universal Format. The service handles the MRN reporting for you. To learn more about the service, please complete the form below. To sign up, send an e-mail to info.claimsearch@iso.com or call 1-800-888-4476.
