Comply with Medicaid Reporting Requirements: It Only Takes a Signature

By Kate O'Kelly August 7, 2013

Earlier this year, Rhode Island passed Article 11, as part of Title 27, Chapter 57.1-1 — the Medical Assistance Intercept Act — which requires all insurers that write workers' compensation or liability policies in Rhode Island to participate in a data-match program called the Medical Assistance Intercept System (MAIS).

To help our clients comply with the new verification and reporting requirements, we introduced the ISO ClaimSearch® Medicaid Reporting Service. It uses our already established processes, at no additional cost, to make a seamless and easy transition for our customers.

If you haven’t signed up for this program, all you have to do is provide your approval. We do the rest, with little or no effect on your business operations. Just submit some information through our information page. We’ll prepare documents for authorization to begin your participation in our complimentary program.

If you’d like more information about the ISO ClaimSearch Medicaid Reporting Service, you can also access our on-demand webinar, brochure, and frequently asked questions, which will explain the reporting rules as well as the requirements and benefits of the free service.

If you have any question, please call Customer Support at 1-800-888-4476 or send us an e-mail at info.claimsearch@iso.com

You can find additional information on the Rhode Island Medicaid Act and the Medical Assistance Intercept System (MAIS) at RI-MAIS.com.
