Al Faber Receives IAIABC NextGen Award for Workers’ Comp AchievementsBy Robert Lewis | August 31, 2017
We are pleased to announce that the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC) has selected Alfred Faber, director and division head of ISO Workers’ Compensation Solutions, as one of its 2017 NextGen Award winners.
The IAIABC NextGen Awards were created to salute new talent and leadership in workers’ compensation as the industry moves to adapt and thrive in a changing world. We are proud that Al’s service to the industry and our clients has been recognized with this honor.
A 15-year veteran of the workers’ comp field, Al has achieved significant accomplishments, including his groundbreaking work as project lead of ISO’s analytics product wcAnalyzer™, which improved the way states and insurers analyze their workers’ comp data. In 2014, after leading sales and business development for the Workers’ Compensation division, Al was promoted to director of ISO Workers’ Compensation Solutions. He is currently responsible for the vision, strategy, execution, and oversight of Verisk ISO workers’ comp solutions in the data compliance space.
Al contributes actively to the advancement of the industry by participating in numerous organizations, including the Board of Directors of the American Society of Workers Comp Professionals (AmCOMP), the Southern Association of Workers’ Compensation Administrators (SAWCA), and the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC). Al is also a sought-after speaker for organizations such as the Workers’ Compensation Institute (WCI.)
Recipients of the IAIABC NextGen Award will be profiled in the October issue of Perspectives and participate in a special session, “A Conversation with the NextGen,” at the IAIABC convention in October.
I’m proud to congratulate Al on this achievement, which reflects Verisk’s commitment to leadership in the workers’ compensation space. For information on Verisk’s workers’ compensation solutions, please contact Kevin Dingwell at Kevin.Dingwell@verisk.com.
