(Nasdaq: VRSK) (the “Company”), a leading data analytics provider, today announced that it plans to commence an offering of $675,000,000 of its Class A common stock (the “Common Stock”). The Company expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase additional shares of Common Stock representing an aggregate amount of up to approximately $67,500,000.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds of this offering, together with the net proceeds of an offering of debt in the form of notes and borrowings under its revolving credit facility and cash on hand, to finance the acquisition of Wood Mackenzie Limited.
