NEW YORK, February 6, 2001 — Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) has named two new vice presidents to advance strategic acquisitions and strengthen the company's expansion into international markets.
Mark Anquillare has been promoted to the new position of vice president – strategic finance. Christopher J. Cron has joined ISO as vice president – international.
Anquillare reports to Kenneth G. Geraghty, ISO's executive vice president and chief financial officer. He will focus on strategic acquisitions and investments for ISO's expansion.
Cron, most recently managing director – Asia for Reliance National Insurance Co., reports to John H. McCue, ISO's senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Cron will be responsible for identifying and developing international market opportunities for ISO.
Until his promotion, Anquillare served as assistant vice president - financial systems and management reporting. In that position, he had responsibility for overseeing ISO's financial analysis and systems, and ensuring the integrity of financial information.
Anquillare joined ISO in 1992 as director – financial systems and became assistant vice president two years later. Previously, he was responsible for financial-reporting operations of the individual-insurance division of Prudential Insurance Co., Newark, N.J.
Anquillare received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree in business administration from Rutgers University. He is also a Fellow of the Life Management Institute.
Cron managed Reliance's operations in Australia, Japan, India and China. He has more than 25 years of international experience, and a broad background encompassing both specialty and standard insurance products in primary and reinsurance markets.
Cron has a bachelor's degree in economics from Fairfield University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Connecticut.
