Bill Churney is president of AIR Worldwide, a leading risk modeling and technology firm specializing in risks associated with natural and man-made catastrophes. Mr. Churney is responsible for setting global strategy and overseeing the worldwide operations for the company.
Mr. Churney joined AIR in 2002 and has extensive experience working with companies to better understand their risk management processes and to identify ways to implement analytics to improve catastrophe risk management. He has led teams that have significantly increased the use of models in many markets, including in the United States and Latin America.
Mr. Churney holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Haverford College and a master of business administration degree from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
