How have you collaborated with a customer to overcome a challenge?

I worked closely with an insurer to understand their marine exposure. Undertaking this work required a lot of attention to detail and creative problem solving while adhering to AIR’s high standards. I made sure I took our customers on the complete journey by significantly increasing their interaction and collaboration. We would catch up daily, readjust priorities, and focus on all stages of the work, including research, running analytics, and exchanging and analyzing exposure data. I delivered the project quickly to support their migration from a competitor vendor model to a Verisk solution.

What’s one of your proudest customer service moments?

A syndicate underwriter licensed our cyber modeling platform in early 2021. I had the responsibility to lead the onboarding process for our cyber risk modeling and analytics platform. I made sure the client had a detailed understanding of the models and their benefits. Within Verisk, we’re always looking to innovate where possible, and I looked to do this for their onboarding process. I ensured the content was easily accessible and hosted various hands-on demonstrations, presentations, and in-depth model discussions. The client was required to submit their underwriter’s regulatory reporting. Typically, this function was done manually, but they decided to incorporate our models into their reporting. Our onboarding process and Verisk products played significant roles in ensuring the successful implementation of the platform.

I strive to make my clients’ workload as simple, streamlined, and efficient as possible. Whether it’s discussing a helpful tip about performing an activity in less time or a detailed conversation concerning software applications, I believe all these actions help our clients deliver high-quality services and solutions.
