Ron Beiderman is vice president of commercial lines coverage products at ISO. He has primary responsibility for overseeing the research, development, implementation, and maintenance of policy forms, manual rules, and loss costs for ISO's Commercial Lines programs.

He plays a key role in ISO's emerging issues initiative, writing on emerging issues such as drones and cyber insurance.

He has also represented ISO at numerous industry forums where he has spoken on emerging issues, additional insured issues, construction defect coverage issues, and general liability trends and developments. He started his career at ISO and has held positions in the Commercial Property, General Liability, and Specialty Commercial Lines Divisions.

Ron graduated with a bachelor of science degree in political science and communications from Rutgers University and has earned the designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).

John Buchanan

John Buchanan

John Buchanan is a Principal in the Excess and Reinsurance Division of ISO. He is responsible for all of ISO’s services for domestic and international reinsurers and excess operations. He joined ISO with substantial experience as a reinsurer at Platinum Reinsurance and a Principal for Tower Watson.

Jeff De Turris

Beth Fitzgerald is senior vice president, industry engagement, ISO. Ms. Fitzgerald helps represent ISO to the global property/casualty insurance industry, participating in meetings with organizations both in the United States and around the world. Ms. Fitzgerald uses her broad experience and knowledge of insurance to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including insurers, regulators, agents/brokers, and actuaries.

Before her current role, Ms. Fitzgerald served as president of ISO Solutions, where she oversaw the development of ISO’s core products and services, including advisory prospective loss costs (projections of future claims), policy forms, underwriting rules, and related information products that most insurers use to write one or more lines of commercial or personal business.

Ms. Fitzgerald is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. She is also a member and currently serves as Vice Chair of Finance of the Actuarial Standards Board (ASB).

Joe Izzo is senior vice president of data strategy and information management at ISO. Mr. Izzo manages the maintenance and quality of ISO’s statistical databases and related products and services. He has more than 29 years of actuarial and data management experience.

Mr. Izzo began his career with ISO in 1986 as an actuarial assistant. He has held management positions of increasing responsibility since 1994. Those responsibilities have included personal and commercial lines data management and quality, new data product development, and actuarial consulting.

Mr. Izzo has been a speaker at various conferences and seminars run by ISO, the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), and the Insurance Data Management Association (IDMA).

Graduating from Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Mr. Izzo earned a bachelor of science in operations research with a concentration in economics. William (Billy) Mauro is director of commercial casualty product development at ISO. Since joining ISO in 2003, Mr. Mauro has been involved in the development of many of ISO’s commercial casualty initiatives, including drone coverage options, data breach exclusions, additional insured revisions, and liquor liability coverage options.

Mr. Mauro has also helped develop ISO’s businessowners, farm, homeowners, and market segments programs.

Mr. Mauro has contributed articles to several insurance publications, such as Carrier Management and Gen Re’s Policy Wording Matters, and has presented at events run by a number of industry organizations, including the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals, the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI), and the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies. Before joining ISO, he was a licensed life insurance agent and worked on life insurance product services at Morgan Stanley.
