National Breadth and Local Depth
Workforce model advantage
Traditional due diligence providers use independent 1099 subcontractors to perform most of the critical work. Verisk Commercial Real Estate believes the best customer service comes from a centralized model. That’s why we have a large, full-time, dedicated Verisk employee workforce in the field from coast to coast. You get the advantage of our consistency, training, reliable standards, and national reach. The Verisk difference is apparent when you have a large portfolio assignment. See the chart for a comparison of the two models.
Both the public and private sectors depend on Verisk for commercial property surveys, assessments, and gradings. In fact, Verisk assesses how local governments adopt, amend, and enforce building codes in nearly 20,000 communities and performs field surveys on more than 47,000 fire protection areas in the country. Verisk customers include commercial lenders, most U.S. commercial property/casualty insurers, and the ten largest global reinsurers. Virtually all the largest commercial insurers in the United States rely on our building surveys and reports.
