Scott G. Stephenson is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Verisk Analytics. Before becoming Verisk’s COO, Mr. Stephenson had group-level responsibility for a number of the company’s business units and a variety of functional groups, including Enterprise Data Management, Business Development, and Partner Licensing.

Before joining Verisk's ISO subsidiary, Mr. Stephenson was an executive-in-residence with Silver Lake Partners, a technology-oriented private equity firm headquartered in New York and Menlo Park, California, where his focus was on the information services sector. Before Silver Lake, Mr. Stephenson was a senior partner with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a global management consulting firm, including service on the firm’s North American operating committee.

Mr. Stephenson is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering, and the Harvard Business School, where he received a master of business administration degree. Mr. Stephenson has served on numerous civic and charitable boards.
