Scott G. Stephenson is president and chief operating officer of Verisk Analytics.

Mr. Stephenson manages the day-to-day operations of Verisk Analytics, and all of the company's operating units report to him. Also reporting to Mr. Stephenson are the Verisk technology, sales, marketing, and business development organizations.

Before becoming Verisk’s COO, Mr. Stephenson had group-level responsibility for a number of the company’s business units and a variety of functional groups, including Enterprise Data Management, Business Development, and Partner Licensing.

Before joining Verisk's ISO subsidiary, Mr. Stephenson was an advisor at Silver Lake Partners, a technology-oriented private equity firm headquartered in New York and Menlo Park, California, where his focus was on the information services sector. Before Silver Lake, Mr. Stephenson was a senior partner with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a global management consulting firm, including service on the firm’s North American operating committee.

Mr. Stephenson is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering, and the Harvard Business School, where he received a master of business administration degree. Mr. Stephenson has served on numerous civic and charitable boards.
