Cecilia Sze is president and chief executive officer of Atmospheric and Environmental Research (AER), an award-winning environmental research and consulting firm located in Lexington, Massachusetts. The company is part of Verisk's decision analytics business segment. AER has deployed its world-class, peer-reviewed research in operational centers around the globe. The company has also incorporated its technologies into a suite of environmental risk-analysis tools tailored for the government, insurance, financial services, and energy markets. 

As cofounder of AER, Ms. Sze has served in various capacities, from researcher to chief financial and operations officer to president and CEO. Ms. Sze has played a key role in transforming AER from a two-employee firm concentrating on atmospheric chemistry to its current size of more than 110, with eight divisions focusing on modeling, sensing, and prediction of phenomena in the atmosphere, ocean, and space.

Ms. Sze holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Purdue University and a master of business administration degree from Northeastern University.
